David unveils the opinions of significant Jewish historical figures on what is expected to happen during the Messianic era. Bringing together a broad range of sources, David presents the most commonly accepted ideas of the sages about this long-anticipated period, while allowing some of the more marginal – and often controversial opinions – to join the fray. The talk provides an overview of a complex and sometimes challenging topic – and one which is not for the faint-hearted! David examines what to expect from the dawn to the close of the Messianic period, exploring ideas such as the Garden of Eden, the resurrection of the dead, Gog and Magog, the new Torah and the coming of the Mashiach.
This lecture is best suited to a theatre-style audience with a recommended audience size of 50 to 200 people. David will require a white board for this presentation.
